About Our Club
Charter - Article II Object or Purpose of the DYC The objects of this club as stated in the Agreement of Association are: To foster and promote yachting and related water sports; to develop thereby good fellowship and fair sportsmanship; and to furnish in connection therewith the opportunity for social intercourse without regard to race, color or national origin. None of the Clubs activities shall be engaged in for personal profit and no part of the Clubs income inure to the personal benefit of any of its officers or members. Hello to ALL, Welcome to the DYC, the best little yacht club in Marblehead. We are looking forward to a great 2012 season. We urge all of you to get involved in one or more work parties or committees this year. It is a great way to meet your fellow members and it helps to keep our club affordable. As we move into the 21st century, we are using more and more technology to stay in touch with our membership. Please make sure we have your e-mail address in order to stay up to date on club happenings. Our clubhouse is a wireless hotspot, so bring your laptop to the club, enjoy the view, surf the web, or check your e-mail. Enjoy the best "office view" in the state.
