2017 Annual General Meeting

The annual meeting for the Dolphin Yacht Club will be hosted at the club facilities on October 30th at 7pm. Members are invited to attend.

At this meeting, the Board of Directors will seek approval for the 2018 slate of officers as follows:

Restaurant getting rave reviews

You've probably heard by now, that the dining-room food and service are both getting rave reviews from our members. If you haven't sampled it yet, please visit and give us a try. Could you imagine a better location for a lunch?

Please note that we are enforcing membership verification to utilize the dining-room and bar and we're requesting that reservations be made by phone only at the club during opening hours (not by voicemail or by email).

Membership cards are still delayed with the vendor but we're expecting them soon. In the meantime the team will ask you for your membership number and verify this on our records.

Opening Night Party - Friday, May 13th

A quick reminder that Opening Night Party is to be held at the club this Friday, May 13th starting at 7pm. Live Music and passed hors d'oeuvres. Members only (no guests please). Casual.

The club will be closed for the weekend to facilitate some staff training and other preparations. Regular season hours start Monday 16th. Please refer to http://www.dolphinyachtclub.com/restaurant/  for Restaurant hours and to http://www.dolphinyachtclub.com/waterfront/ for Launch hours.

Cards and Parking passes will be available for collection during regular opening hours except during our busiest times on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. No cards available for pickup on opening night.

 

Opening Dates Announced

The 2016 Season at DYC will open on May 16th, with a pre-opening party hosted for members-only (no guests) on May 13th. The club will be open 7 days per week.

DYC hires Executive Chef

We are very pleased to announce that the Club has hired Alan Knight to take over as Executive Chef.  Alan has served as Executive Chef for Serenitee restaurant group at Latitude 43 in Gloucester, Maggie’s Farm in Middleton, and most recently as the Executive Chef at the Boston Yacht Club.  As a Marblehead native Alan has worked at many local establishments for over twenty years, acquiring a broad skillset beyond the kitchen from systems development and implementation and budget planning, to purchasing and team leadership.

With his classic New England background and a passion for ethnic cuisine, Alan and his team are looking forward to interacting with the membership, providing fresh, creative, and approachable hand crafted food at the DYC this season.
